Indulge in a little self-care.“That’s the beauty of this brand—walking in and being able to get a facial service,” says founder and CEO Michele Henry. “We all want instant gratification.”A mother of four, Henry says unmanageable postpartum skin issues were the original impetus for Face Foundrié, which recently opened its 44th unit, or “store,” as she prefers to call them.“This was created out of a…I hate to say ‘selfish’…but a need that I had,” Henry recalls. “After I had my third child, I had such bad hormonal acne, and I couldn’t book-in anywhere. Plus it was all med-spa pricing. This concept just did not exist.”Typically priced at $70 for a 30-minute Focused Facial, and a lower-cost, 20-minute version, affordability is baked into the Face Foundrié brand values alongside convenience and accessibility.The less expensive Mini Facials have proven to be ideal for people who are new to the experience. “It’s a way to test it out,” says Henry. “We originally designed them for our North Loop (Minneapolis) location, which is in a heavy downtown area, so people could pop in over lunch. But it’s been a great introductory service, priced at anywhere between $45 and $55, depending on the market.
